"Stormy Seas" Acrylic Painting on Canvas 8x8"

This piece started as simply a practice piece to study sea waves as realistically as possible. The more I painted, however, the more I fell in love with the stormy waves and how the waves appear to be crashing into each other. I painted this piece on a small canvas which, I think, gives the feel of looking out of a boat window in a storm. I used many layers of small fine detail work to build up the realism of this piece.

This canvas costs £55 ready to hang, with an extra £5 charge for secure postage and packaging.
